Welcome to the Cape Breastoners , Cape Breton's first Dragon Boat team!

We are a fun-loving group of breast cancer survivors who strive to be physically fit while supporting each other.

Our primary focus is paddling as a team which builds our physical and emotional strength. Our presence in the community inspires hope and increases awareness that there is life after breast cancer.

Our home base is the Mira Boat Club where we have two boats and a boat house. As we paddle up and down the river there is a sense that we are one and together we can do anything!
 
We also have a terrific group of support people made up of family, friends and interested members of the community who are committed to promoting the activities of the group. Several members of this group paddle as well. With some survivors, they have formed their own team.
